German Shepherds stand apart from most dog breeds because they have been bred as a multi-purpose animal. The breed originated as a herding dog, a family dog, and as a personal protection dog. The German shepherd dog was continually bred for balanced temperament and good health, giving an overall beautiful picture without compromising any one aspect of the breed. I breed working German Shepherd puppies, which are exactly that… dogs and puppies that are trained and worked on a daily basis. My dogs are healthy, active, mentally stimulated, family members that compete in Schutzhund and reside in our home with us on a daily basis. Our dogs are suitable for many different dog sports, including Schutzhund, Personal Protection, Search and Rescue, Herding, and agility. The working German Shepherd puppy is a great choice for many (but not all) people. German Shepherd puppies require exercise, mental stimulation, and attention to become healthy well balanced dogs.
